I first met Rich Marsiglia in 1992 when he was a foreman for MTC Construction Company. I had purchased an 800 square foot pharmacy and MTC helped me remodel the store. In late 1995, with my business growing I looked to expand again. By then Rich Marsiglia had started his own company, Marsi construction. Rich worked closely with me to design and layout a new 3600 square foot store. We not only took over the store next to mine, but also had to take over 2 apartments behind the store. It was a challenging project, especially because the ground floor of the 2 apartments was 3 feet higher than the ground floor of my existing store. This project involved major structural changes, which required a large amount of steel. Rich also worked closely with my architect, and he actually caught a major mistake before the project got started. Rich was able to point out that the architect only provided for 6 foot ceilings, which would have greatly limited my use of the basement. Over the years, he has helped me make other changes on plans before mistakes happened. Architects are certainly knowledgeable, but it takes an experienced contractor to be able to visualize what the architect has drawn up and anticipate potential problems.

Marsi also did a great job of reusing existing materials, including reusing most of my support beams. Once the floor was level, the Marsi crew prepared the new area for retail use. We moved to the newly renovated space on a Sunday, and the following day, they walled off the existing store with plywood and they began the demolition of the old store. The transition was seamless, and we never had to close the store, not even for an hour.

In 2001, we decided to move our location to an old supermarket down the street. There the Marsi crew helped me demolish and renovate an 8000 square foot space into a beautiful store that we are still in today. Again, this was a major undertaking. It’s important to note Marsi construction is a turnkey operation. They not only provided me with quality construction at reasonable rates, but also provided store design/layout as well as fixtures. In this new store, we again lost no time in our move. Marsi came in on Sundays, early in the morning and late at night to make sure there was little or no disruption to my business. They also provided me with all the shelving, slat wall, and aisle markers I needed. They worked closely with his subcontractors to make sure the all my projects were completed in a timely fashion. I have been so pleased with their efforts that I even used Marsi to renovate the basement in my home.

Since 2001, I have used Marsi to complete several smaller projects in my store, including constructing a compound laboratory and a new vestibule. If you use Marsi, you will get a fair deal and a company that will stand behind their work.

We were under pressure to complete the job in record time and thanks to your hard work and perseverance we made the deadline and the client was able to move into his facility before experiencing heavy expenses. We are a property maintenance and management company providing repairs and assistance to owners or ownership entities of rental properties, both residential and commercial our services are available to our customers seven days a week, and are licensed builders in the state of N.J.

Marsi has provided the onsite renovation of three of the wholly owned Rita Pharmacy Inc. Marsi pulled together a team of professionals who worked effectively with us, and the Breadsmith franchise office. Starting with an old and very antiquated space, they provided a build out to the exact specifications required. I was amazed at the outcome and so was the building owner!
